Yes. A guest rental agreement, a security hold (which is not a security deposit but is allowable on Airbnb), and ID verification are required for your stay.

What is your cancellation policy, and where can I find the details?

Our cancellation policy will be clearly displayed on the "Confirm and Pay" page before booking.

We highly recommend reading it carefully, as it applies to both cancellations and date changes.

You will also have the option to add trip insurance, which we strongly suggest for added flexibility.

Are pets allowed, and what are the pet fees?

Yes, we allow up to 3 dogs per stay for $75 per pet.

How are pet fees handled through Airbnb?
When booking, if you indicate that you’re bringing pets, Airbnb will automatically add the fee for the first pet. We will then send a request for any additional pet fees after booking.

Can I bring more than 3 dogs?
Possibly! If you’d like to bring more than 3 dogs, please send us an inquiry. We approve requests on a case-by-case basis.

Can we use the fireplace in the living room?

No, the fireplace in the living room is decorative only and cannot be used to start fires.

Is the pontoon boat available for rent, and how does it work?

Yes! The pontoon is available to rent for $200 per day until October 31st.

How do I reserve the pontoon?
After booking your stay, we will send you a request for the rental fee along with a rental contract.

Is there a deposit required for the pontoon rental?
Yes, a $500 refundable deposit will be collected.

Is there water nearby, and are there any safety concerns?

Yes, our property is located directly on the Owasco River with 275 feet of water frontage.

For safety reasons, children should be supervised at all times near the water.

Are there security cameras on the property?

Yes, we have one exterior security camera facing the backyard. It records audio and video 24/7.

There are NO cameras inside the home.

Are smoke and carbon monoxide alarms installed in the home?

Yes, both smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms are installed for your safety.

Is the property noisy due to the nearby fire station?

There is a fire station across the street, and their alarm goes off daily at noon and occasionally at other times throughout the day.

Does the home require climbing stairs?

Yes, please note that stairs are required to access the home.
